Podiatry Today is another online and print publication owned and operated by HMP Communications. This particular publication focuses on Podiatric news, case studies, and editorial commentary by Podiatry professionals. It is also linked up closely with HMP's website Podiatry Live, which we did not do any work on, but is also another Drupal website.

Our job with Podiatry Today was to upgrade the Drupal 5 core installation and contributed modules being used to Drupal 6. This required us to perform a step by step upgrade in order to preserve some of the Views and CCK settings that were created by the original developers. Overall we were able to update the site without incident, but some new views and content types had to be imported from the other installs that we created so far in order to fulfill all the design requirements from the PSD provided.

This site was a Drupal development project, as well as a Drupal theming project. This Drupal site migration and Drupal theming was part of a larger project that consisted of migrating 12 sites from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6. Six of those sites were done by Arbor Web Development, while the other six were handled by their internal development staff. Arbor Web Development provided Drupal project management services on the whole project including technical support, consultation, and training to their in-house staff in regards to the server infrastructure used, advanced Drupal migration techniques, and Git version control.
